Review of the August 23,  2003 court hearing.

The transcript from August 21^st 2003 is from the hearing on Defendant/Appellant’s Motion to object to the record for the second time where Mr. Lane is allowed to act on stage and list all the wrongs in life to including quoting Teddy Roosevelt.  None of what he had to say was on point of the hearing.  He wanted to anger Judge Ruddick so he would throw husband of the defendant Jim Burneson in jail which he did for one night.  This shows the control Mr. Lane has over he judges of Arapahoe County and District.

Also in this hearing Defendant/Appellant served subpoenas on the court staff to include Deputy Clerk of the County Court to be present to explain the missing three hours of audiotape. 

Judge Ruddick off the record dismissed all subpoenas against the staff and told them they would not be appearing.  Then he went back on the record to continue the hearing to protect himself and Lane from being caught with information about their involvement in losing the tapes.

This is a typical kangaroo trial that Chief Judge Leopold, District Judge Rafferty, and Senior Judge Steinhardt approve of in our justice system of Colorado.  We will wait to see if the Supreme Court of Colorado now having a chance to read more of the case they didn’t read when they (According to Chief Justice Mullarkey all seven approve of by their denying Defendant/Appellant Writ of Certiorari.
