		<description>The Attorney General of Colorado told me he would not persecute any complaints involving HOAs since there are no laws that protect these homeowners. It is for this reason we have won the State&#039;s approval to have property managers licensed which would then create laws that a property manager must follow or by violating these laws then the Attorney General could accept complaints against Property Managers of HOAs. Call you State representatives and ask her/him if they agree to requiring Property Managers to be licensed and you may find they don&#039;t agree and want to protect Property Managers by suggesting Mediation instead.

		<description>State of Colorado has recommended that Property Manager of HOAs be licensed by the State DORA just as Real Estate Brokers are licensed. This suggestion is being side tract by several State Legislature namely Sen Morgan Carroll and candidate Nancy Todd. They represent the organization CAI (Community Association Institute) that represents the property managers and lawyers who feed on HOA across the country. 
They are trying to circumvent the licensing of Property Managers in our State by offering mediation instead of a license.  Mediation doesn&#039;t work as a protection of HOA homeowners.  The Dam East Had three mediation all which failed because a new board elected after an agreement was made refused to approve the mediation since they as new members were not involved in the process. We lost a year to two years to learn what the lawyers knew would be their out of the agreement. We trusted the law until the third time and then refused mediation again.

The new efforts by the crooks in this business is to try and stop the DORA recommendation that all Property Management Companies have a Property Manager licensed under DORA just as Real Estate Managers and Insurance Brokers. 		<description>I think I sent you a reply recently about your concerns which are correct.  You may not know the Board bought my house to get rid of me from the HOA. What is interesting the board does not have any authority to buy houses as left out of the Articles of Incorporation.  They paid over $280,000 which includes legal fees during our wars and sold the house for $151,000.  The house was flipped and resold for $244,000.
